MAN v FAT Wirral — how scoring works
Every fantasy manager can see exactly how points are calculated. What you won't see week to week is any individual player's specific breakdown -- only their combined total for that gameweek. These are the rules behind that total.
Pitch performance
Standard on-pitch scoring: goals, clean sheets, man of the match.
Weight management
Weight-loss/maintenance based scoring, as used by MAN v FAT style leagues.
Captain
Your captain's combined points (pitch and weight scoring together) are doubled each gameweek -- or tripled if you play the Triple Captain chip. Bonus chips multiply the same combined total; they don't change the underlying scoring rules above.
Loans (borrowed players)
If a team is short, it can borrow players from the opposition. Each borrowed player costs the borrowing team a 2-goal penalty on the scoreline. This affects the displayed result only -- it doesn't change clean sheet bonuses, so a team that wasn't scored against on the pitch still keeps its clean sheet. Borrowed players only ever score for their own team, so guesting for another side doesn't affect the fantasy game at all.
Chips available in this league
Each chip can be played once per season, and only one chip can be played per gameweek.
